Viva Sounds has been shaking up things since 2017 as an international club festival and indie conference that crams a whole lot of shows, talks and late-night chaos into late November. The festival has built its relevance and reputation by inviting people by handshakes and booking live acts through going to shows, plus adding brilliant pieces from its international network. Carried out by Westside Music, a Gothenburg outfit dedicated to building a stronger local music community through live shows, media projects, and release support – with a focus on collaboration and gut feelings.
