As you walk through the hazy and liminal space you meet Kali Horse...the experimental art-rock collab of multi-instrumentalist producers Sam Maloney and Desiree Das Gupta. Digital and live drums under emotional harmonies, swimming guitar enveloped by foley samples make the live band ripple with psychedelic eccentricity. Their avante-pop whimsicality channels Björk, while their soaring anthemic moments reflect their rock roots. Their newest EP '2099' is veering into industrial soundscapes - a bold snap back to reality, with a Kali Horse twist. Backed by Brandon Bak (Possum, OOZ) on drums and production, the live act lit up festivals like NYC’s New Colossus and River & Sky, showcasing that “their world is an immersive experience...that should be repeated and shared often.”
