Garden of Love is a rock trio from Montreal including members of Faze/Laughing, Ursula/Cheap Wig and Enormous Door. Their first cassette, “Love is Coming” was released by ever/never records in September 2025 in conjunction with their arrival on the touring circuit, when they made contact with the international pop underground, joining the growing movement to defeat and humiliate uninteresting rock, and replace it with an extremely peaceful worker’s democracy (means by which to do this subject to protracted discussion). Aside from such (outrageously empty and self-important) aspirations they also like jangling guitars, venturesome bass, compelling melodies, unpredictable arrangements, and decisive unity in action. They purvey a deliberate mixture of breadpunk and rosespunk, though perhaps a little on the rosier side. long live interesting rock! death to the technolibertarian insect that preys upon the life of the people.
