"Chung makes music you can vibe to. Bars, soul and a few gems for you to live with. Raised in an Anglophone enclave in the LaSalle borough of Montreal, Canada, she adopted her stage name from the Street Fighter character, a nod to her facial features as well as her interest in martial arts. The youngest of three, Chung grew up in a musical household, influenced by her Jamaican upbringing and her older brothers who'd listen to East Coast Rap and Southern Hip-Hop, all of which inspired her own musical ambitions. Chung released the critically acclaimed ""Chung Shui"" & ""Chung Shui II"" with producer Cotola in 2021 & 2023, combining street narratives from a woman's perspective with raw, dramatic beats. She followed up the EP with ""See You, When I C U"", a 13-track album produced by Mike Shabb and Nicholas Craven the following year.
